About Janesville Youth Hockey
We are a not-for-profit, Division II club, located in Janesville, Wisconsin. We have a volunteer Board of Directors who oversees the operations of the club. We encourage a competitive environment where girls and boys can learn basic skating and hockey skills. We believe learning the fundamentals of hockey and having fun playing the game are essential to the development of a lifelong interest in hockey. We stress sportsmanship, teamwork and respect.
We typically have over 190 travel skaters and around 60-70 skaters under age eight each season. We also offer Introduction to hockey, which typically has 50-60 skaters per session.
We operate out of the Janesville Ice Arena, located at 821 Beloit Ave., Janesville, WI. Currently, JYH supports the Woodman's Sports Complex and Convention Center. JYH has pledged $100,000 towards the project.
Interested skaters can check out one of our "Try Hockey Free" events. Our season begins with Skills and Drill the last two weeks of September and tryouts starting the first week of October. The season runs from October through March of the following year.
