10,000 Shot Challenge
JYH is launching for the first time this summer the 10,000 Shot Challenge! The Board is challenging all JYH players to take 10,000 shots before September 1 to be entered to win a prize and all participants who achieve 10,000 shots will receive a free t-shirt.
The 10,000 Shot Challenge is one of the most highly effective methods with the lowest cost to develop a young player during the off-season. Grab a bucket of pucks and have your player take some shots on a net, against a piece of wood, or whatever you have available. Decorate some milk jugs and use them to help develop their aim. Gather some friends this summer to work on completing the challenge together. Any way they're able to do it will help develop your player for the next season.
Track your progress by downloading the 10,000 Shot Tracker Worksheet. Put a sticker or an X in each box once 100 shots are completed.
We'd love to see photos and videos of your players completing the challenge to share on our website and social media. You can email photos and video to marketing@janesvilleyouthhockey.com.
